Stella Feehily

Stella Feehily is a playwright whose work has been produced across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. Her most recent play, The Lightest Element, premiered at Hampstead Theatre and tells the story of the pioneering astrophysicist Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin. Her debut, Duck, was a co-production between Out of Joint and the Royal Court, later transferring to the Traverse Theatre, the Royal Court, and the Peacock Theatre, Dublin.
Other plays include O Go My Man, Bang, Bang, Bang, Catch- with four playwrights. (Royal Court); Dreams of Violence; This May Hurt a Bit and How To Get Ahead In Politics (Arts Theatre). Adaptations for theatre, ballet, short plays and opera, including Love and a Bottle (LAMDA), Coppélia (Ballet Ireland), The Omission of the Family Coleman (Theatre Royal Bath), and Close (Irish National Opera). Radio work includes BBC Radio 3 and Lyric FM, and television and film projects with Picturelocked Pictures and FilmNation.
