Zinnie Harris is an award‑winning playwright, screenwriter and director based in Edinburgh; she was the Associate Artistic Director at the Royal Lyceum Theatre from 2022 - 2026 and is the current Professor of Playwriting and Screenwriting at the University of St Andrews. She has been produced by the RSC, the National Theatre, the Royal Court and on the West End. Renowned for bold reimaginations and original storytelling, her Macbeth (An Undoing) toured internationally to New York earning multiple Drama Desk nominations. Her extensive body of work spans acclaimed plays such as How to Hold Your Breath, The Wheel, and Further Than the Furthest Thing, alongside directing credits and screen projects for the BBC and Channel 4, receiving numerous major awards across theatre, film, and television.
